Can you believe we are almost a third of the way through the year? Netflix is bringing a lot to the table this month starting with Michelle Obama. She will share her kitchen knowledge with a new Netflix original family series, Waffles + Mochi. The show is part of her and her husband Barack’s producing deal with the streaming service. Obama will pair up with some mischievous puppets and learn about cooking from renowned chefs like José Andrés and Samin Nosrat on the show. The series premieres on March 16.
The launch of that new DOTA anime has everyone’s talking about it. What’s big for Netflix this March is the dropping of so many documentaries. First we have the Notorious B.I.G. Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell, executive produced by the rap legend’s mother Violetta Wallace and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Also dropping is Murder Among The Mormons, a documentary series co-directed by Jared Hess. I’m extremely excited about that one. If you followed the college admission scandal there is a documentary for that too. Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal, a Netflix original documentary about admissions bribery scandal that made headlines after high-profile celebrities like Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were revealed to be part of it. It will debut on March 17.

Mamma, Mimi, Michele, call out any one of those names and I will answer. There are several hats on my shelf. My passions are photography, being outside, movies, tv, pop culture and anything haunted or spooky. People are my other interest, I love meeting new people and socializing. When I lived in Savannah GA I worked as a tour guide both haunted and historical tours. I met people from all over the world, that was the best part of the job. All of this I can write about too, that’s the beauty of being a writer.
