American Gods Brings in Ashley Reyes and Herizen Guardiola for the Third Season

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”30402″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]American Gods season three has added more to its already star-studded cast. We previously reported that Marilyn Manson and Blythe Danner will be in the third season and now we will have Ashley Reyes and Herizen Guardiola.

Reyes will be a series regular, while Guardiola will recur in American Gods’ third season. According to Deadline, Reyes will be Cordelia, who is described as a “whip-smart but rebellious college dropout”. Mr. Wednesday aka Odin meets her during a time of mounting legal bills and student debt. Cordelia travels across the country and helps out with “tech stuff” for Odin, but doesn’t realize the battle she’s in the middle of. Tech stuff, you say? Will we see Tech Boy emerge again somehow?

Guardiola will play Oshun, who is a Yoruban goddess of love, purity, and fertility. Oshun uplifted while also empowered the enslaved people who built America. According to Deadline, Pshun and her Orishas will play an important role in main character Shadow Moon’s spiritual awakening.

I’m always happy about more American Gods news and hopefully, we will be getting more information as the months go on.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
