After a half-hour wait, American Gods officially debuted the feature-length trailer for season three. As we already knew from the teaser, season three will heavily feature Lakeside. A section of the book, written by Neil Gaiman; that’s pretty beloved by readers. What we also see is that while Shadow Moon attempts to get away from the god war, the rest of the characters wage on. Restructuring and figuring out how to approach this way in a more organized fashion. But, who does Wednesday really have on his side anymore?

There’s a lot of new characters this season – both ones from the book and new creations all together. The most interesting storylines to me are the ones with the New Gods, Bilquis, and Laura Moon. I believe I need to get over the fact that Mad Sweeney isn’t coming back – I think I was still holding out hope. Regardless, Laura has a new Leprechaun with her albeit he’s no Ginger Minge. Seemingly, Laura retrieves the spear that Sweeney sent to the Horde in season two, so how did she get it back?
There’s a lot of questions I have, but all I know is January 10th can’t come quick enough! What’d you think of American Gods’ official trailer for season 3?
