We have our Alfred!
Matt Reeves just confirmed Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth in the upcoming film The Batman. There had been reports that Serkis was in talks for the part and now it’s confirmed. Like Reeves has done before, he set Twitter ablaze with a post.

The Batman has a really great cast so far with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, and Colin Farrell is in talks to play The Penguin.
Serkis is not only now playing Alfred in The Batman, but directing Venom 2 for Sony. Are you excited about this casting?
