In the edgy comedy Anyone But You, Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.

Video Quality
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment brings Anyone But You to Blu-Ray with a first-rate 1080p video presentation that shines in every instance. The skin tones remain natural with a delicate amount of detail present in close-ups, especially when it comes to the texture of makeup. The modern production design along with the fabrics of clothing provide favorable textural details. The presentation delivers a significant amount of depth on display both in the interior shots and when out in the world. The image is crisp and clear with a dazzling color palette that saturates the frame. The film injects some bold splashes of colors within the clothing, production design, and locales which never disappoint. Black levels are stable with no egregious instances of digital noise or crush, and highlights are similarly firm with no blooming at play. This Blu-Ray maintains the absolute quality you expect from Sony.
Audio Quality
This Blu-Ray comes with a lively DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio track that translates every minor element to perfection. Dialogue never fails to come through flawlessly without being overshadowed by any competing sounds. Some active moments sneak up on you and engage the surround speakers in a really dynamic manner. There are numerous examples of really nice ambient details expanding the setting. The soundtrack is a banger as every song flows from the speakers in a full, well-balanced way. The low end of the track makes itself known when it needs to. The audio track is a top-tier presentation for this feature in all respects. There are an array of optional subtitles provided including English, English SDH, French, Spanish, and more.

Final Thoughts
Anyone But You is a testament to star power. If you really drill down into it, the script for the film is not pushing the romantic comedy genre forward in any particular way, and the characterizations are often inconsistent throughout the narrative. Yet, when you pair two people like Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell together, you get a chemical reaction that keeps you glued to the screen. The film is light, fun, and often quite funny. Yet, these two, and the rest of the ensemble, should not have to stretch so much to make this material work on charisma and charm alone. Due to the lack of great rom-coms in recent years, this gets a boost for providing a really good version of one. It would just be nice to get a new classic. Sony Pictures has provided a Blu-Ray disc that sports a vibrant A/V presentation and an array of supplements for those who do decide to check it out. If you love romantic comedies, be sure to seek this one out. Recommended
Anyone But You is currently available to purchase on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital.
