With advanced ticket sales through Atom, which sold for the Amazon Prime/Warner Bros. screening partnership for the film on December 15th in 1,000 locations, it’s beaten the previous record set byAvengers: Infinity War. Move over star Wards, it’s all about Aquaman this December.
Aquaman also sold more than Venom on Fandango, which is more than $80.2M for Venom’s opening weekend. Fans with VIP Accounts will receive five free digital Comic Books that include Aquaman No. 1. While advanced ticket sales are not always an indication of how well a movie is going to do, we can keep in mind that Black Panther was guestimated to beat out Captain America: Civil War’s 24-hour sale and in the end, the movie starring Chadwick Boseman beat out the Captain America trilogy with $2020M to $179.1M.
Are you going to go see Aquaman? Did you already get your tickets? Let us know!
