According to Deadline via ComicBook.com, the streaming giant has ordered an eight episode zombie series. The series titled Black Summer will star Jaime King (Sin City). The series will be created and run by Karl Schaefer and John Hyams who both worked together on the Syfy series Z Nation. At Comic Con, Rob spoke with Nerdist House about the upcoming film and was asked by Patrick Reed if Stryfe would be the villain. During Comic Con 2018 fans were treated with some shockingly good news for the upcoming second season of Iron Fist, actress Alice Eve would be joining the cast as Typhoid Mary.  In the comics Typhoid Mary is a mutant supervillain who is mainly the enemy of Daredevil. As expected the new Venom trailer dropped today. I’m trying not to get carried away here but this is easily the best trailer they have dropped so far. Yesterday I said this film would either make or break the film in terms of people deciding if they’re actually going to watch it in October. And the early responses I’m see to the trailer have been positive for the most part. Yesterday the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy made a statement on Twitter regarding the firing of James Gunn last week. James was fired over a week ago after tweets the director made were brought to the publics attention. The tweets were from years ago but included comments referring to rape and pedophilia, this led Disney to act fast and let the director go.
