He challenged Daniel Bryan in a WWE Championship match in a loss. Ali has been out the past several weeks due to eye and tailbone injuries. He was set to appear in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber special event in February, but was pulled due to said injuries.
