[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”16877″ img_size=”696×392″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Mustafa Ali made his return at a Smackdown Live Event this past Saturday in Minneapolis. He challenged Daniel Bryan in a WWE Championship match in a loss.
Ali has been out the past several weeks due to eye and tailbone injuries. He was set to appear in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber special event in February, but was pulled due to said injuries. The timing could not have been worse, as it was heavily rumored that Ali would receive a major push going into and coming out of the Elimination Chamber event.
Ali’s return gives him plenty of time to integrate himself into the mix for the road to WrestleMania and continue his wave of momentum since being brought up to Smackdown full time.
