It was revealed in a press conference before last night’s NXT Takeover: New York event that international superstar Kushida has signed a deal with WWE. Kushida has long been rumored to be joining the company. He appeared on camera at last night’s Takeover event and will soon make his debut with the NXT brand. Beefcake joins a class consisting of D-Generation X, Honky Tonk Man, Harlem Heat, Torrie Wilson and the Hart Foundation. Impact has announced that Gail Kim will be coming out of retirement for a match against Tessa Blanchard at Impact Rebellion. The event takes place in Toronto on April 28th https://twitter.com/impactwrestling/status/1111825865623683072?s=21 Gail has been retired since last February, when she last competed for Southside Wrestling. She was the inaugural Knockouts Champion, a former Knockouts Tag Team champion, a one time Queen of the Knockouts and is credited as being a pioneer of Impact’s Knockouts division dating back to 2007. She was inducted into Impact’s Hall of Fame in 2017 and is the only female to have done so.
