Brutus joined WWE in 1984 and worked with the company through the early 90s. He won the Tag Team Championships with Greg the Hammer Valentine in August of 1985.
Brutus would earn the “Barber” nickname at WrestleMania III after he helped Roddy Piper even the odds against Adrian Adonis and Jimmy Hart after Piper and Adonis competed in a hair vs hair match. Brutus would be the one to cut Adrian’s hair after the loss, and his career was changed forever.
He would go on to have a talk show named “The Barbershop,” with the most notable moment being Shawn Michaels splitting up from his tag team partner, Marry Janetty, and launching the career of the Heart Break Kid.
