Senior Writer at GeekVibesNation - I am a 60 something child of the 70’s who admits to being a Star Trek/Star Wars/Comic Book junkie who once dove headfirst over a cliff (Ok, it was a small hill) to try to rescue his Fantastic Four comic from a watery grave. I am married to a lovely woman who is as crazy as I am and the proud parent of a 21-year-old young man with autism. My wife and son are my real heroes.

In the past, where the Marvel Cinematic Universe was concerned, the Marvel Television world tended to walk their own path. The only exception generally was the early days of Marvel’s Agents of Shield where they made a conscious effort to tie in to what the Movie folks were doing. New York, Hydra and Asgardians were melded into the show and made for a great way to learn about some of the background information that wasn’t seen in the films. Beyond that, it was don’t look over there, nothing to see. However, with the release of Avengers: End Game and the…

While Netflix decided to pull the plug on a number of their Marvel series, it hasn’t precluded those involved in the show’s creative process to obtain other work. Such is the case for M. Raven Metzner, who was the Season 2 showrunner for Netflix’s Iron Fist. Metzner has inked a two year deal with ABC Studios to develop shows for them for broadcast, cable and for Disney+. According to Deadline, he already has begun to work on two series for the forthcoming Disney+ Streaming platform. This will not be Metzner’s first Rodeo with ABC as he has worked previously on…

One look no further than his Academy Award Winning turn as Rayon, a drug-addicted transgender woman with AIDS who befriends McConaughey’s character Ron Woodroof in Dallas Buyers Club or his polarizing performance as Joker in Suicide Squad. Presently, he is working on director Daniel Espinosa’s Morbius the Living Vampire. As selective as Leto has been known to be in his roles, there must have been something in the character or the genre that intrigued him. In a recent interview during Variety’s Big Ticket Podcast…

Geeks, Nerds, Uber-fan’s, Techies, Book-Worms, but whatever the term, the last few months have been like Christmas in April and May. We have witnessed the now historical release of Avengers: End Game, the final season of Game of Thrones is at the half-way mark with the last episode breaking viewing records and fan’s hearts at the same time. And now we approach what is a red-letter day in THIS Geek’s agenda, the Season 6 Premier of Marvel’s Agents of Shield. May 10th is when it once again consumes my Friday night schedule…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”21236″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Since April 26th, Avengers End Game has been a lot of people’s minds. Those who have seen it want to discuss what they saw so badly, but they are trying to restrain themselves so as not to ruin it for the people who haven’t seen it. It has not been easy. Fights have been reported to have broken out about Spoilers. For full disclosure, I myself have put out an article about the “Time” involved in the story and although warnings are clearly given, it is something we think about for each article. How soon is too…

So much so that the present Leopold Fitz who was left behind, had put himself in a cryogenic chamber to wait and catch up to his team that had been sent to the future. Got it? Then to complicate things, the former past Fitz who is now the future version returns to the past with the rest of the team. That…

After two episodes of story based character reflection, the moment Game of Thrones have been waiting for arrived on Sunday with the Battle for Winterfell between the Living and the Dead. The Long Night was one hour and 28 minutes of tension, conflict, death, and a desperate fight for life. But if you ask some, it was also an extremely dark story. Literally dark as in difficult to see what was going on. However, if you ask Game of Thrones Cinematographer Fabien Wagner, he would tell you that the lighting was done in the manner the show’s creators wanted and…

Episode 3 was that time and the tension was so thick it was almost touchable as the battle for life against death began. Here are some of the things we learned: 1) Fighting the Dead is not freaking fair. Just by numbers alone you are outmatched. The sheer volume makes it difficult to stand your ground because…

In this case Ant Man’s David Dastmalchian, who played Kurt, one of Scott Lang’s business partners who hung in the van, will now tackle a villains role as The Polka Dot Man in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad. If you are scratching your head and wondering who? You’re not alone. I had to look the character up. The Polka-Dot Man debuted in 1962’s Detective Comics No. 300. Abner…
