For the new series, we have new casting and thankfully, Movie Hole has provided the descriptions for each character below: Samantha, African American Female, 35-42. “A divorced single mother and witch. Magic has given her everything. Now she wants what matters, and she’ll get it herself. She’s determined to make a new life amongst mortals with her 13-year-old daughter, Mya, without relying on their magic. The kind of woman who’d be…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Eminem; master of words, rap god, and a fan of The Punisher. The musical legend took to Twitter yesterday to let Netflix know exactly how he felt after the streaming service decided to cancel The Punisher [and Jessica Jones]. https://twitter.com/Eminem/status/1098428332113301504 It was a sentiment that Punisher stars such as Ben Barnes, Jason R Moore, Deborah Ann Woll, and Jon Bernthal himself seemed to agree with. It should be mentioned that on top of Netflix canceling its remaining Marvel shows, it seems that it also is losing other content such as the CW DC shows, Friends, and others. Whatever is happening…

Samsung presented their new Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ (the larger version) at the Unpacked press event in San Francisco this morning. Among some of the features on these new phones is a punch-hole cut-out for the front-facing camera, which will allow the company to use edge-to-edge screen design, without the usual notch that can find on the latest iPhone. It also features a three-lens camera in the back, which is apparently powered by a machine learning…
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]With Captain Marvel only a couple of weeks away from making her debut into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the hype for this superhero is real with the mobile game Marvel Future Fight bringing in the heroine for the fight. On top of this, Nick Fury, Minn-Erva, and Korath will be added, with the character in “film-specific” designs, which makes it the perfect compliment to the film. Netmarble Corp stated: “a new Captain Marvel Legendary Battle theme will include three new stages consisting of backgrounds and characters from the movie. Captain Marvel can now be upgraded to Tier-3, gaining a new…
Captain Marvel hasn’t hit theaters yet and Goose the Cat is already a fan-favorite. If you jump on Twitter, you’ll see it’s #LoveYourPetDay, which as a contributor to GVN, I can say we do that daily. But, in a recent video, where Samuel L. Jackson and Brie Larson are praising their co-stars. At the end of the video, while it was clear Jackson was speaking of Larson; the Carol Danvers actress makes it clear that she was speaking about Goose the Cat. Samuel L. Jackson: “effortless, enigmatic, fearless” Brie Larson: “talented, refined, iconic.” https://twitter.com/MarvelStudios/status/1098281126727020544 Jackson then cleared it up that…
While it is the studios that decide on who gets to play what role, it is fun to sit and pick an actor or actress who you can see portraying a comic book character. Everyone has their fan-favorites and some may seem as unlikely as ever, but despite perhaps not being as exposed to the big wigs that determine the casting, it doesn’t mean certain people wouldn’t absolutely nail a role. That’s what I’d like to do today; give my completely personal opinionated choices for certain DC villains. Now this list is small and probably won’t match a lot of…

The pilot has been described as: “After 25 years away from home, Lucy Emerson (who is at the end of her financial rope) returns home to the small California beach town of Santa Carla, to live with her father Frank and teach at the local high school. [vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”16143″ img_size=”400×611″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]I am continuously impressed by the storyline and just the overall gorgeous landscape of the Aquaman series. Like paintings in a museum, each page is filled with a story that needn’t any dialogue to actually convey the tale they are preventing. This comic series does a fantastic job in really integrating the feel of old, oceanic mythology into itself, while also feel incredibly like a DC comic issue. Arthur Curry is still “Andy” and while he understands some things about himself, he still does not know who he was or that there is a whole world waiting…
