Breaking Bad’s Upcoming Film Finally Reveals Its Cast; Bryan Cranston and Krysten Ritter Return

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”9843″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]When something great ends, you know that it had a perfect ending and should live in that realm of its time, but you also want it back. We’re seeing that more than ever these days, but no one, and I mean no one (including myself) is complaining that Breaking Bad is coming back. Called “Greenbrier”, this Breaking Bad movie has been rumored, spoke about for a while, but it hasn’t been until today, thanks to Revenge of the Fans; that we have an official cast listed for this exciting upcoming project. On top of Aaron Paul reprising his role as Jesse Pinkman, here’s who are can be excited about joining Greenbrier:

Jonathan Banks (Mike), Jesse Plemons (Todd), Charles Baker (Skinny Pete), Matt Jones (Badger), Robert Forster (Ed, aka The Disappearer), Tess Harper (Mrs. Pinkman), and Kevin Rankin (Kenny). – Courtesy of ROTN.

You should also know that Walter White himself is returning and so is Krysten Ritter. Ritter played Jane, Jesse’s love interest, which will be interesting to see both characters return considering they both met their demise in the series. I have to imagine that even though this movie will be Jesse’s continuation that we’ll have some flashbacks or even hallucinations that will make Bryan Cranston and Ritter’s involvement in the film plausible.

As far as Cranston’s involvement, he commented last November:

“If Vince Gilligan asked me to do it, sure, absolutely. He’s a genius. It’s a great story, and there’s a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some sort of completion to some of these storylines that were left open.“

He continued:

“This idea, from what I was told, gets into at least a couple of the characters who were not completed as far as their journey,” Cranston stated at the time. “I can’t wait to see all those people again…even if I just come by to visit!”

Just where this story will take us and what connections they’ll have with the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul will be interesting. Are you looking forward to the Breaking Bad movie and what do you hope for it? Let us know![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
