Camila Mendes (Do Revenge) is in talks to star and produce ‘ALBA’ alongside Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap Entertainment. Jenna Ortega and Danny Ramirez are also being eyed for the film as well.

Jenna Ortega might be the hottest name in Hollywood right now. Coming off her first season of Netflix’s record breaking series, Wednesday, the actress is also geared up for another round with GhostfaceĀ in Scream VI.
The film will be directed by award-winning filmmaker Francisca Alegria.Ā Her debut feature The Cow Who Sang A Song Into the Future premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2022. Chelsey Lora will write the script.
The film is an adaptation on the play The House of Bernarda Alba by Federico Garcia Lorca. The story modernizes the play by setting it on the outskirts of Miami. After the death of her husband, Bernarda Alba puts her daughters under a rigorous, traditional mourning.
The film is currently looking to begin filming this Summer.
