The characters making up the film will most likely be unknown to viewers, but it’s fortunate that The Hashtag Show has decided to list the character descriptions of who we can expect to see when this new project hits theaters.
Below you can find the character descriptions:
Karen
Karen will be someone who is in their early thirties and seemingly the studio is looking for any ethnicity, particularly Middle Eastern, African, and Native American. Karen will be a powerful, timeless quality, and a leader. Karen will be warm, nurturing, and by the way, can kick ass.
Male Lead
The male lead is without a name, but described as a Greek God. Considering we have the Norse gods in the MCU, it’ll be fun to see more deities involved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Druig
Druig is a villain within the Eternals who first appeared in Eternals #11 in 1977. He gained notoriety after Neil Gaiman included him in 2000’s Eternals revivals, though Druig was originally Jack Kirby’s creation.
Druig can manipulate all forms of matter and energy, including the atoms of his own body. He can teleport, manipulate gravitation in order to fly, control the minds of others, and project energy from his body, typically from the hands or eyes. Druig served as a KGB agent in Russia in modern times, finding that he enjoyed torturing people. Fun right? It’ll be interesting seeing how a Disney/family-friendly MCU will convey this on the big screen.
Piper
Piper will be a female anywhere between ten to sixteen years old of any nationality or ethnicity. Piper is described as a strong and charismatic person with a “magnetic” personality. Piper is wise beyond her young years and articulate, as well as quick-witted.
Elysisus
Marvel is looking for an actress, 20-40, for the surprising role of Elysius. This is an artificially made character that has superhuman stamina and strength, speed, and durability. She possesses the ability to live a long lifespan and is immune to terrestrial diseases. She also happens to keep creatures as pets, who obey her telepathetic commands.
Elysius is an artificially created being patterned in and possessing the attributes of the long-lived offshoot of humanity called Eternals. She has superhuman stamina, and her strength, speed, and durability are higher than that of a human. Elysius possesses an extremely long lifespan and immunity to all terrestrial diseases. Elysius has limited telepathic abilities of an I revealed nature. She keeps griffin like creatures which obey her telepathic commands.
Forgotten One
For the role of the Forgotten One aka Gilgamesh, the studio is looking for a male around the age of twenty-five and forty-five. Gilgamesh became an outcast when the Eternals ruler Zuras had ruled that he hadbeen too proud of a meddler in the human world. Gilgamesh was then confined to a sector of Olympus. Eventially coming out of exile, he joined the journey to the mother-ship of the Fourth Host of the Celestials to assist the Eternals in the battle against the Deviants by the Eternal called Sprite.
Ikaris
Ikaris is a male from 20-40, who is an Eternal born over 20,000 years ago in Polaria. Ikaris’s lifeforce is augmented with Cosmic energy and has complete mental control over his physical form, processing even while asleep. He can also create illusions of himself, which sunds like another MCU character we known (Loki).
Makkari
Makkari is a member of the Eternal’s Technologist’s Guild and is being looked at as a 25-45 male. He possesses super-human speed, strength, and reflexes.
Sersi
Sersi will be a female in between 20-40 who is a fourth generation members of Eternals who differs from the others as she desires to live among the humans. She cannot age and can only be killed if her atoms are scattered.
Starfox
No, not the character from Super Smash Brothers, but the brother of Thanos. Also known as Eros, Starfox is a Titan who the studio is looking to fill with an actor 25-45.
Eros is a contrast to his brother Thanos, who is power-hungry and has a need to be a conquerer. Eros instead is carefree and fun-loving albeit a womanizer. Eros can also harness his cosmic powers and be able to fly as subsonic speed. He was psionically stimulate the pleasure centers of someone’s brain who is nearby, calming them down. Thanos himself in the MCU has an eloquent way with words, so it’s only natural his brother would be as well.
Thena
Thena was born in Olympia in Ancient Greece and originally named Azura, but her father Zuras changed hername to resemble Zeus’s daughter Athena so to seal a treaty between their two factions. A scholer and a warrior, she also possesses superhuman abilities like the rest of the Eternals. She can manipulate cosmic energy and is virtually immortal. She can project cosmic energy from her eyes or hands in the form of heat or light.
Zuras
Speaking of Zuras, the father was born in Titanos and is the son of the Eternals Kronos and Dauna. His wife is Cybele and he is a warrior and brother to A’lars, whom he exiled into space. After the first ritual of the Uni-Mind, Zuras was established as the leader of the Eternals on Earth.
