One such question touches on a matter that I myself have pondered before. Is it easier to make the decision about eliminating half of all life when your fate is NOT included?
This philosophical question was raised to Avengers Endgame writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. Could Thanos have snapped himself out of existence? They gave their thoughts on the matter in a recent interview with Backstory Magazine.
“Well, I think he probably put a little asterisk in his snap — and not me,” Markus said. McFeely added: “But if it’s truly random, you know, perhaps…”
I tend to believe the former is true as I cannot see Thanos leaving his fate to chance. What good would come out of completing your life’s goal and not living to see the fruit (or whatever those melon looking things he was picking) of your labor.
Do you believe Thanos allowed himself to be added into the “Random Equation?” Give your thoughts to us at GeekVibesNation.
Avengers: Endgame comes to home video on August 13th.
