‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ Pulled From 2019 Release; Delayed Indefinitely

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1963″ img_size=”650×325″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded”][vc_column_text]Almost a week ago, we reported that Priyanka Chopra would be appearing in Cowboy Ninja Viking opposite Christ Pratt. We’ve now found out that the project has been pulled and delayed indefinitely. Universal has officially released the film from its calendar, though Pratt remains attached to the main role and Michelle MacLaren will still be the director. While Chopra still has the role of the female lead, her availability at the time, if the project ever gets off the ground; will depend on if she indeed stars in the movie.

The movie, based off a comic book written by AJ Lieberman based around a character with multiple personalities; as set to release in June of 2019. According to Collider, Universal reportedly wasn’t in a rush to get the project off the ground. We’ve seen all too often anticipated films not make it to the big screen due to schedule conflicts, script writing, and studios deciding not to prioritize them.

Fret not, we will still be able to see Chris Pratt in Jurassic World 3, the upcoming Western The Kid (back with his Magnificent 7 costar Vincent D’Onofrio), and hopefully Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Chris Pratt will also be in the sequel to the Lego Movie.
