The idea of Netflix never doing anything with their Defenders universe became even more apparent when it was announced that costumes from Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Iron Fist were being auctioned off. The idea of just anyone having these pieces of memorabilia was honestly, too much to bear. The costumes of some of the best superhero content TV had to offer and just anyone could have them?
We can at least feel comforted by the fact that Daredevil is in good hands. Not only has Steven DeKnight pitched in for the Daredevil costume, but Erik Oleson as well!
DeKnight was the showrunner for Daredevil season one and Oleson was the showrunner for season three. Seeing that both stepped up to bring home at least one piece of the fantastic television they put together is awesome. While it feels like we’ll never see Charlie Cox don the horns again, we can at least know that the suits he wore are in good hands.
