[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”20993″ img_size=”411×632″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It’s a girls night with Harley Quinn in the beginning of issue #61. After the New 52 retold the look and backstory of Harley Quinn, we are given a whacky, but charming Harley, who enjoys spending her nights drinking and playing games with Catwoman. Soon, though; things get turned on their head as Harley is suddenly transported during a medieval version of reality where we see characters like Catwoman and the Enchantress in proper garb from a time only bastardized at Rennaisance fairs.
Harley Quinn attempts to make sense of seeing a Renaissance fair-esque version of The Riddler, among other characters who do not know who she is, much to her confusion. For much of the comic strip, it is our titular character trying to make sense of everything that she is experiencing, but it is still fun as we see all these medieval versions of characters we know so well.
Things get relatively sticky as soon you find what caused this confusion in this new world and Harley will have to team up alongside the versions of the other characters who do not realize they existed among another timeline, in order to regain reality again.
This was a fun issue for Harley Quinn fans and for those who enjoy the mythical time period of the Renaissance. While not a whole lot happened other than the stark confusion and surprise of seeing The Riddler and Catwoman as such, it was still enjoyable to read and we can see that Harley’s adventure within this time is not yet over.
