It’s Election Day in Gotham City and Barbara Gordon is running ragged on both ends as she tries to balance campaigning for her new boss with keeping the peace as a superhero. Could the sudden appearance of her murderous brother, James Jr., push her over the edge? – DC Comics

I love the inner conflict Barbara Gordon has when she finds out about James Gordon, being free from prison through this issue. I love the confusion, fear, anxiety, and anger and all those feelings start to emit out of her and it starts to affect how she operates becoming more violent and irrational. This just shows much James Gordon has hurt her in the past, but now James Gordon is trying to do his best to become a good person and by doing that he wants to talk to Barbara

The artwork for this issue of Batgirl is fantastic the way Elena Casagrande shows Barbara’s emotions from the first page when she found out that James Jr. has been released to her disappointment to her father when Barbara found out that he knew about this and did not tell her about it. That page was very emotional and it all thinks to art and also the way it was written. Mairghread Scott does a fantastic job handling these characters with care especially Batgirl.

Overall I thought this was a great read. Built with fantastic art and amazing character interactions I highly recommend you get this comic. If you are all caught up with Batgirl and The Batman Who Laughs, if you are not then this might not be worth your time.[/vc_column_text][vc_images_carousel images=”18725,18726,18727,18729,18730,18728,18732″ img_size=”411×631″ speed=”3000″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
