Destiny 2’s Best Exotic Weapon Is Getting Nerfed

There is news that there will be some weapon tweaking done by Bungie and some sandbox stuff related to specific perks. However, the big news is that the best PvE gun: Anarchy, is getting some tuning.

The gun Anarchy was initially written off as a bit of a gimmick; the weapon fires grenades that attach to the target creating a deadly arc field between wherever you place your shots, and so accordingly, the players just used the weapon for zone controlling and flash frying waves of enemies as they are charging towards you.

As the weapon started to become more popular, it became apparent that it was also a DPS king not just because Anarchy does a lot of damage on its own, but it also can be combo up with other weapons; the best way to use Anarchy is to stick two grenades to a high health target, and while they are ticking you can swap to another sniper rifle or any special weapon and go to town with it.

This is why Anarchy is good for dealing with mobs and bosses, but that is not all because Anarchy deals its damage over time, so it is very easy to use. All you need to do is squat behind cover and peek out to shoot a couple of anarchy shots on the target and then hurry back while they do their work.

Anarchy has, over time, chased out almost all other exotics out of the power weapon slot, so it is little surprise that the developers are going to be doing something about it, and its glory days are coming to an end. Anarchy has done so much well for too many years without even counting the boost it’s gotten this season which is due to the sweet grenade launcher artifact mods, so the developer Bungie is making changes that will make the gun great at a couple of things rather than being the jack of all grenade launchers.

The reaction from players at first was very mild, and they did not like this decision. However, everyone did expect this toning down of the Anarchy, and some players were even relieved by this news and said it would be great not to use Anarchy for every high-end activity. Some players implied that this nerfing would not affect them at all, and they would just switch to other grenade launchers like the Witherhoard, which was just a little bit overpowered when it arrived in 2020.

There isn’t much confirmation as to what weapon will replace the Anarchy exactly, but we can keep an eye on Sleeper Simulant, which is going to benefit from the buff that other linear fusion rifles received, some rocket launchers like the Deathbringer and the Two-tailed fox are also already having a great influence so we can expect them to see some more play when the Anarchy is nerfed however there has not been a date finalized to when the Anarchy will be nerfed as Bungie said that it is planned for the near future as Anarchy has been too good for too long.

That said, you can still get other weapons and items, and if you don’t want to go through the grind, you can head to Gamecamp.gg. It is an online video game price comparison website where you can find all the cd key deals and DLCs
