There has not been a date announced for Narcos: Mexico Season 2. It seems, though; that one of the actors has teased when fans can expect to see the return of this spin off of Netflix’s Narcos.
Actor José María Yazpik plays Amado Carrillo Fuentes on Narcos: Mexico and in a recent Instagram post, seemed to confirm the show’s return will be in February of 2020. This is due to a fan asking when the show would return underneath his Instagram pic, to which he replied:
“Febrero.”
Netflix has not commented on this, but it is nice to at least have the actor confirm when we can see Narcos: Mexico Season Two. The first season was released in 2018 and it would have been nice to have a second season by the end of this year, but February, 2020 isn’t too far away. Perhaps we will even get a trailer sometime soon. Narcos: Mexico takes place before the events of the original Narcos. The first season ended with the death of real DEA agent Kiki and we should expect the aftermath in season two.
