Disney+ To Offer 4K and Multiple Device Access at No Extra Cost

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”28639″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]When the Disney+ streaming service was announced, much of the excitement generated was about its content. With original Star Wars content like Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian and Marvel content like Loki and WandaVision, it made a compelling argument for their service. Now as we draw ever closer to its November premier, the folks at Disney+ have revealed their plans for the service. This includes a very competitive pricing model and access.

During Friday’s D23 Disney+ event, it was announced that Disney+ will allow its subscribers to stream up to four devices at the same time (Netflix caps that at two). In addition, for each account, seven different user profiles will be available. The service will also allow them to watch high-definition 4K videos at no extra charge. All of this comes at a very competitive starting rate of  $7 per month.

With the relatively low monthly fee and the multiple user access, Disney+ is positioning itself to be a major player in the streaming market. As a result, when added to their new content, Disney is going to force others to try to compete. That can’t help but be a good thing for consumers.

Are you thinking of subscribing to Disney+? I am just for the content alone. The pricing model and what access is offered just makes that decision easier. How about you, our loyal followers? Is Disney+ on your radar? Share your thought about what Disney has announced with us at GeekVibesNation.
