A little over a year ago news broke that Twitch had permanently banned one of their most prolific streamers ever, Dr. Disrespect. Of course this ban sent shockwaves through the gaming community. Many who claim to be in the know said they knew why the 2x was banned but could not say. I call bullshit on that since not even Dr. Disrespect knew why he was banned, until a few months ago that is. Doc moved to YouTube a couple months after the ban and during a recent stream admitted that its been a rough year, calling it a “roller coaster of emotions”
Losing Partnerships and Potential Deals
During his most recent stream, Doc told the Champions Club that he makes maybe a fourth of what he was making on Twitch. He said the first thing you see when you Google his name is “Dr. Disrespect Twitch Ban” and that companies like Nike, Disney and more get scared off or question why he was banned.
Not only has Doc been hurt financially but he also has been hurt when it comes to streaming partners. TimTheTatman and Nick Mercs were frequent collaborators with Doc and due to the ban that is no longer possible.
Suing Twitch
During the live stream Doc paused for a moment and revealed that he has known for months why he was banned and said
“There’s a reason why, and I’ll just say this right now champs — there’s a reason why we’re suing the f**k out of em, ok?”

He did not go into specifics but if this goes to court then I am sure we will find out soon enough. This could also potentially open the door to other lawsuits from streamers who have been banned from Twitch.
This could send major shockwaves throughout the gaming community as Dr. Disrespect is one of the biggest faces in the world. You can be sure that content creators and gamers will be focusing on this case heavily.
