One of the biggest announcements made this year was the crossover event that will feature for the first time Kate Kane aka Batwoman. Ruby Rose was announced to play the titular character and went on to say how being cast was a game changer. CW even announced that Batwoman would be getting her own series sometime after the crossover event. The casting was met with mixed reviews, we at Geek Vibes Nation absolutely love the casting and think Ruby will be amazing. None the less Ruby is our Batwoman and today we got the first official image of her in the iconic outfit.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8034″ img_size=”1241×1550″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]According to ComicBook, The “Elseworlds” crossover production begins today and this image was released to get ahead of any leaks that might occur while filming. The suit looks amazing and Ruby is even sporting the classic long red hair as you can see in the image above.
The “Elseworlds” crossover begins production today, so it is likely The CW wanted to get the image out ahead of set spies who routinely try to get inside dirt on new characters and major plot developments on the various superhero shows filmed in and around Vancouver.
Four time Academy Award winner Colleen Atwood designed the suit and has worked on The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow and the Tick.
