He then reprised the character briefly in both Civil War and Avengers: Endgame. While the character is dead in the current timeline, the actor recently said in an interview that he has more films on his contract.
“I got five more movies that I’m obligated to do for Marvel if they ever call me.”
He then joker:
“…middle-aged, Italian, Captain America.”
This is certainly interesting. We’ve seen dead characters return before. Grillo himself in Endgame, Lee Pace in Captain Marvel, and Phil Coulson in Captain Marvel. How they decide to throw Grillo back in the MCU, we will have to wait to find out.
Grillo and MCU co-star Anthony Mackie are in Netflix’s Point Blank that just hit the streaming service this weekend.
