Yes, there will be a fifth installment to the Indiana Jones franchise. Harrison Ford will return to reprise his role as the iconic titular character. What is it going to be about? Apparently, Indiana Jones‘ past.
Harrison Ford recently revealed this information in an interview with IGN:
“Well, I’m not going to share the story with you because that doesn’t seem like a good idea.”
He continued:
“But we’ll see new developments in his life, his relationship. We’ll see part of his history resolved.”
Ford added:
“It’s a very good script. I’m looking forward to it.” One of the people who had a hand in that script was Jonathan Kasdan, one of the writers of Solo: A Star Wars Story. Kasdan also just happens ot be the son of Lawrence Kasdan, one of the Raiders of the Lost Ark screenwriters.
The fifth Indiana Jones will hit theaters on July 9, 2021.
