[vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/RIxr26dow90″ el_width=”90″ align=”center”][vc_column_text]When Wreck-It Ralph debuted in 2012, it became the highest opening weekend for Disney Studios at the time. Telling the story of a video game character who no longer wanted to be the villain, Ralph and his unlikely partner Vanellope von Schweetz wiggled their ways into our hearts. Now, we’re looking at the sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet, which will debut November 21st of this year. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman will return as Ralph and Vanellope, respectively. The story will see the story fighting to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush.
Ralph Breaks the Internet is sure to be another hit, with the likes of Taraji P. Henson and Gal Gadot joining the cast. The film is directed by Rich Moore, who is responsible for Zootopia and Wreck-It Ralph. Produced by Clark Spencer, we’ll also see Ralph worried about losing Vanellope, the only friend he’s ever had when they encounter another arcade game that it seems Vanellope doesn’t want to leave.
The hit band Imagine Dragons wrote the film’s end song, Zero, which according to the lead singer Dan Reynolds, is very poignant to the theme of the movie:
“It’s a pretty timely movie in a lot of ways in that it addresses some of the issues of identity and loneliness unique to this internet generation,” says Reynolds. “Ralph’s internal struggle for self-acceptance really resonated with us, and this song speaks to that.”
