In Order to Understand Certain Upcoming Marvel Films; You’re Going to Need to Watch The Disney+ Shows

If you are a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and NOT planning on getting Disney+, you might want to rethink that decision. According to Comicbook.com, Kevin Feige himself stated that in order to understand certain upcoming films, you’re going to need to watch the Disney+ shows:

Bloomberg wrote:

“If you want to understand everything in future Marvel movies, [Feige] says, you’ll probably need a Disney+ subscription, because events from the new shows will factor into forthcoming films such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The Scarlet Witch will be a key character in that movie, and Feige points out that the Loki series will tie in, too.”

Feige stated:

“I’m not sure we’ve actually acknowledged that before. But it does.”

Everything is very much connected within the MCU, but these have mostly been restricted to the films. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has sort of played within the MCU, but can stand on its own. The Netflix Defenders universe did have references to the MCU, but now with the cancelations of these series, it doesn’t seem like they factor into the movie universe. This means that the Disney+ shows will be, pretty much; the first shows that will have an impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Which, makes sense considering the same actors and characters are going to be included. Such as Loki, Falcon, The Winter Soldier, Wanda Maximoff, Vision, and more.

On top of that, new characters will be introduced. Such as Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and more. If you thought you could miss out on these series, think again.

Have you planned on getting Disney+?
