IT Director Andy Muschietti In Talks to Direct the Flash Movie; Ezra Miller Still Attached

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”25646″ img_size=”768×433″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Things have certainly been confusing when it comes to the future of the DCEU. Especially when it comes to Ezra Miller’s Flash. With Henry Cavill out (or not) and Ben Affleck Out, there were multiple reports that Miller could be out too. There seemed to be problems with the current script, director, etc. Now, we’re learning that a new director is in talks to take on the DC film.

That director would be Andy Muschietti. Who is the man behind the successful IT and IT: Chapter Two films. Barbara Muschietti, his partner and sister; will be joining Michael Disco for the movie. With him, Christina Hodson is apparently being eyed for the script. She wrote Bumblebee and Birds of Prey. And, Miller is apparently still attached to the project.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are both out, despite having written drafts of the previous script. In addition, the studio is not moving forward with the script that Miller himself co-wrote with Grant Morrison. How Miller feels about this, we don’t know. Plus, nothing is confirmed as of yet.

What do you think about this development?
