It’s happening!
It’s official – Jon Bernthal will reprise him role as Frank Castle aka The Punisher in Disney Plus’s Daredevil: Born Again. While we’ve seen Charlie Cox reprise his role as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio has come back as Wilson Fisk, it wasn’t officially announced that Bernthal would come back as the iconic anti-hero. It was surmised, but not confirmed – until now.
Bernthal first played Frank Castle in Netflix’s Daredevil season two (aka The Punisher season one) in 2016. Due to his popularity, Bernthal went on to lead his own spinoff show from 2017-2019. As huge fans of Bernthal’s portrayal of this well-known Marvel character, we cannot wait to see the MCU’s interpretation of him.
