Veronica Mars is officially getting new life on the streaming site Hulu, per creator Rob Thomas’s announcement recently. According to Thomas, four veterans of the show will be joining Kristen Bell. Among those returning is Jason Dohring, fresh from his time on iZombie, another show of Thomas’s. Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra, and David Starzyk will also be coming back for the eight-episode revival.

The premise of this return will be Veronica Mars tracking down a serial killer who is terrorizing Neptune during Spring Break. According to Thomas, this is set five years after the movie was released.
“One big case. Eight episodes to tell the story. This is a detective show.”
