This is what happened, for David Gordon Green’s latest Halloween film as John Carpenter recorded a promo for new film. The recorded feature also includes previously unseen footage from the horror film. expanding on some of the moments revealed by the second trailer. As for Carpenter, who is executive producer and also composed the score for the new film, he believes that Green’s film holds up well compared to the original.
“This is as good as I’ve seen since we did the first movie,” admitted Carpenter who directed and co-wrote the 1978 original film.
