The one thing movie fans know is that success breeds sequels. With the popularity of the original Kingsman: The Secret Service and the subsequent sequel of Kingsman: The Golden Circle, it was almost a foregone conclusion that a third movie was destined to be made. Now that assumption has been confirmed. Fox, through Exhibitor Relations shared the news on Twitter.
The holy trinity has been confirmed. Fox's UNTITLED KINGSMAN MOVIE drops Nov. 8, 2019. And yes, Matthew Vaughn returns to write and direct.

So while another Kingsman movie has been verified, the nature of the movie has not been. Will this be a continuation of the series or will it be the prequel that Director Vaughn has previously hinted about? The director had previously laid out a detailed plan to expand the world of Kingsman on the big screen, with possibly two different films. One being a traditional sequel, following the story of Eggsy and Harry Hart and another being a prequel titled Kingsman: The Great Game, which would explore the spy organization in the early 1900s. Whether either of these are the direction they are going is still unknown but with a release set for November of 2019, they don’t have a great deal of time to make those decisions.
Now with the third Kingsman on the horizon, what would you hope to see? A direct sequel or the discussed prequel? Share your insights into the world of the Kingsmen with us at GVNation.
