Marvel Television’s Head Jeph Loeb Exiting After Kevin Feige’s New Promotion

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”30905″ img_size=”900×506″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]While Kevin Feige is reigning supreme at Marvel, another long-time member is exiting. The Hollywood Reporter has reportedly confirmed that Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb is leaving. It’s expected that he will announce his exit by Thanksgiving.

Loeb has been the man behind Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Netflix’ The Defenders universe. He came under his title in 2010, having previously worked as a writer on Smallville and Heroes. His exit will shake things up a bit, as he and Marvel TV’s division was in the middle of developing a Helstrom series for Hulu. It’s reported that Feige and his team will decide on the future of these shows, apparently by a case to case basis.

With Feige assuming control over television as well, it was a wonder as to where that left Loeb. Now we know. How do you feel about Loeb exiting his position and how do you think Marvel Television will fair under Feige?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
