The Netflix adaptation of Jessica Knoll’s novel Luckiest Girl Alive has added new talent to the mix. Starring Mila Kunis; Finn Wittrock, Scoot McNairy, Chiara Aurelia, Thomas Barbusca, Justine Lupe, Dalmar Abuzeid, Alex Barone, Carson MacCormac Jennifer Beals, and Connie Britton are joining the project. Mike Barker will direct the movie.
Luckiest Girl Alive focuses on a “sharp-tongued New Yorker who appears to have it all” named Ani FaNelli. Ani’s working at a very high-end magazine and has a dream Nantucket wedding in her future. Ani will then have to face her dark past when a director of a crime documentary asks her to participate in recounting a horrific incident at the “prestigious Brentley School”.
