Netflix Confirms Season Two of Who Killed Sara? Will Premiere May 19th

Who Killed Sara? season one just hit Netflix on March 24th. The ten-episode Spanish-language show was full of mystery, betrayal, and had one hell of a cliffhanger. I rated this show very high in my season one review, but also expressed my utter shock at how they ended the season. Luckily, we don’t have to wait very long for more, as Who Killed Sara? has been renewed for a season two.

And season two isn’t a year away or anything. The second series will hit the streaming platform on May 19th of this year. In the official press release, it was stated that Matías Novoa, Daniel Giménez Cacho, and Antonio de la Vega will join the cast.

That cast consists of Manolo Cardona, Carolina Miranda, Ginés García Millán, Claudia Ramírez, Eugenio Siller and Alejandro Nones.

Here is the official synopsis of season two:

After 18 years of unjust imprisonment, Alex Guzmán is released from prison with the perfect plan to discover who killed his sister Sara and why the Lazcano family blamed him for the crime. What he doesn’t imagine is that the search for evidence will confront him with a much more dangerous detour than imagined: he will fall in love against his better judgement with Elisa, the daughter of his main suspect, and, at the same time, will be horrified to learn that it is Sara’s secrets that will be the main obstacle to reach the truth. Therefore, when he finally confronts the true perpetrator of the crime, Alex will wish he had never begun his revenge.

Who else is excited for season two?
