Netflix Will No Longer Have Rights To Daredevil Starting This November

While Marvel has acquired the rights back to Fantastic Four and the X-Men, there are some characters that it does not have the rights to use yet. This means the Netflix Marvel characters are still off limits, such as Daredevil, which many “rumor sites” have said that he’d be in the third Spider-Man. This would be tricky considering Netflix still owns the character and would own the character when Spider-Man 3 was originally meant to start shooting.

Even though Netflix decided to literally cancel all of their Marvel shows, they’re not doing anything with them, but they still have their grip on characters like Daredevil until November of this year. Daredevil, after a stunning third season; was canceled in November of 2018.

Marvel’s Daredevil

There’s no telling when Spider-Man 3 will start shooting, considering production for everything has been halted due to the COVID-19 outbreak. All of Marvel’s films have been pushed back to much later this year and who knows if Charlie Cox would even be available to reprise his role as Matt Murdock.

All that being said, I’d love to see the likes of Cox and Jon Bernthal reprise their Netflix characters in the MCU. Maybe, things will sync up and we can get Cox in the MCU as of November, 2020.
