While the Netflix-Defender universe has been canceled on Netflix, it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy some blasts from the past. Executive Vice President and Creative Director of Marvel Entertainment Joe Quesada has decided to share something to feed us fans, even if we don’t know if we’ll ever see these actors as these characters again. Enjoy an unfinished and unseen sketch of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle aka The Punisher.

Simply seeing this makes me miss the Defenders universe, The Punisher specifically. Bernthal has previously stated that the character will always be with him, but who knows what is going to happen. It may be unlikely that we will ever see any of the Netflix Marvel characters appear in the movies and Bernthal is constantly working. At least we will always have Daredevil season two and the two seasons of The Punisher.
