“After being given away by Andy to toddler Bonnie at the end of the last film, our favorite toys including Woody and Buzz Lightyear are having as much fun as ever taking care of their new kid. The gang is still there and fans will love seeing them together again. A problem arises when a new toy called “Forky”, voiced by Tony Hale, arrives at Bonnie’s room and throws their happy existence into chaos. He consists of a spork with pipe cleaners and isn’t by any means a regular toy. In fact, he doesn’t see himself as one at all. That doesn’t matter to Bonnie though, as he is thrown into the group for her enjoyment.
When the toys decide to go on one last trip to the outside world together, along with Forky, they meet new characters at a carnival. These new toys include prizes “Ducky” and “Bunny,” voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele respectively. As they embark on their entertaining yet emotional journey, they will find out what it truly means to be a toy. It’s basically an existential crisis through the eyes of a toy and knowing Pixar it will likely be one to remember for years to come.”
Toy Story is a franchise that many of us know well and for those who were born in the 90s, it was the quintessential movie for parents to take their kids to in the movie theaters. The third movie made us all cry and if it’s already being teased that the fourth will be even more heartbreaking, I’m almost scared to see what they have in store for us.
