Terminator: Dark Fate released a new trailer via Paramount Pictures and with it gave us much more of an idea of what could be going on. It’s hard to tell who the main protagonist really is here. Perhaps it’s a shared role between Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) and Mackenzie Davis (Grace). Over the years, Connor has likely developed a prejudice against A.I. in a Ron Swanson kind of way.
Can you blame her? Skynet sent its thugs to get her and her son in both of the original flicks. With Dark Fate continuing after those two, many years had passed and you cannot help but wonder if she’ll fill us in on what occurred all this time other than the basic resume she entailed to Grace in this new trailer. Arnold Schwarzenegger shared with the world what he tweeted.

Sarah’s montage of curmudgeonous A.I. hate continued throughout the clip. The cantankerous, battle worn vintage machine destroyer took aim at Grace. Sarah was quickly bested by the enhanced human. I can’t help but to think of the Cyberpunk genre where body modification is supreme in its stories. Makes you wonder if there is a larger scope of people like her who may have some underground contingency going in their battle against the machines.
We continue forth on through Sarah’s journey through the trailer where she’s met with an old friend. She pulls her shotgun on him only to have Grace stop her yet again and finally threatens to kill the T-100 Terminator (Arnie) when this is all over. Grudges never seem to end. Perhaps John Connor (Edward Furlong) will bridge the gap between the two.
Terminator: Dark Fate releases come Nov. 1.
