[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”10277″ img_size=”446×299″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Human Capital, an upcoming indie dramatic thriller adapted from Stephen Amidon’s novel; is adding three more talented individuals to its roster. Joining Live Schreiber, Marisa Tomei, and Alex Wolff; Peter Sarsgaard, Maya Hawke, and Betty Gabriel are brought on for this project, which will be helmed by Marc Meyers and a screenplay by Oren Moverman.
The movie will center around the lives of two families, one being middle-class and the other privileged; as their realities are interwoven suddenly when two of their children begin a romantic relationship that leads into a tragic accident.
Human Capital was first adapted in 2013 as an Italian language film called Il Capitale Umanofrom and was directed by Paolo Virzì. The movie went on to become one of Italy’s highest grossing films, so here’s hoping that this rendition will be able to achieve the same goal.
