[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Following up on a post that we featured yesterday, we have found out that the highly-anticipated DC Universe will launch September 15th and the show Titans will premiere on the streaming service on October 12th. The show promises to be a dark version of what we’ve seen in such animated shows like Teen Titans and Teen Titans GO. Playing the well-known character Starfire is Anna Diop, who you can see using her powers in the trailer, which now, so famously featured Robin expressing “F*ck Batman.”
Joshua Yehl of IGN recently tweeted some insight to Starfire’s story-arc in the upcoming series. Yehl, from the tweet you can see below; is quite pleased with where they have decided to go with it. Though I have some reservation with the costume design of Starfire, the trailer overall looks great and I especially liked how it seemed as if the powers were coursing through the character. Starfire is a well-known character from the show and with a live-action adaptation, there’s always challenges. But from the trailer and Yehl’s tweet, it looks like the producers did a good job figuring out the kinks.
