With this release, music by Willie Nelson, D’Angelo, Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme, Rhiannon Giddens, and more. You can find them on Spotify and Apple Music.
The soundtrack includes thirteen songs, with each one lasting in between one to four minutes. These vocal performances carry story-driven lyrics that inspire the Western theme of this video game. In total, the album is 43 minutes. There will also be a companion score album released later this summer, composed by Woody Jackson. This will be called The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Score.
Rockstar Hames stated previously:
“Building on the evocative score of the original Red Dead Redemption, the soundtrack and score of Red Dead Redemption 2 is a powerful, emotional journey through the final days of America’s outlaw era.”
Are you excited to listen to the soundtrack?
