There’s a lot of speculation surrounding GTA 6. When’s it coming out? What will it entail?
According to known leaker Tom Henderson, GTA 6 might take place in modern-day Vice City. And it may not come out until 2025. This goes against the previous reports of an 80s-themed “Project Americas”. This is due to the fact that Rockstar may feel that a trip back to the 80s may be more restrictive than it is freeing.
Last time the Grand Theft Auto franchise took place in Vice City (the GTA version of Miami) was in 2002’s Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Now, why would we have to wait another four years before a new GTA? Henderson suggests that the company Rockstar is currently focusing on the well-being of their employees after such a crunch in the run-up to Red Dead Redemption 2. In addition, Henderson claims that the game will solely launch on PS5, Xbox Series X, and the PC. Rockstar seemingly wants to wait for these current-gen consoles to get in the hands of more people before putting out their next GTA title.
Of course, these are all rumors, but until Rockstar comes out with something official, all we have is speculation. What do you think of this GTA 6 rumor?
