Rumor: Kevin Feige Working With Sony on Spider-Woman Deal

Could Kevin Feige strike up a new deal with Sony for another character? While Sony and Disney have shaken hands and agreed to keep Peter Parker where he is, it’s possible we could see another Sony character brought over into the MCU.

This rumor comes from Murphy’s Law Podcast where Charles Murphy shared a scoop that Feige wanted to bring Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman into the MCU. You can listen to the podcast here and the quote below is at the 42:50 mark.

“The last that I heard, they were at least having conversations with Sony about trying to make it a co-opt. I know that Feige is at least interested in making a Jessica Drew movie with Sony.”

Is Jessica Drew owned by Sony or Disney? Due to Drew’s ties to HYDRA and High Evolutionary in the comics, she would be technically Disney-owned? But, her name is “Spider”-Woman, so that would mean Sony. Who would really have rights to her and is it possible that Sony and Disney team up again to bring Drew into the MCU?

Would you want to see Spider-Woman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Let us know!
