‘Silver & Black’ Could Be Developed as a Disney+ Series

There was a time that Sony Pictures was going to develop a spinoff movie about Silver Sable and Black Cat, which would have been called Silver & Black. News and progress on the project have been brought to a stalemate and not much else has been said about the movie.

Gina Prince-Bythewood was set to be the director for Silver & Black. In a recent interview, she revealed that the project may see the light of day as a Disney+ series:

“I really love that project, and I do hope it can still happen in some way. It keeps going through different thoughts. First, it was going to be the two of them, and then the decision was made to separate the two. Now, there’s a thought of “Hey, maybe we put it on Disney+ as a limited series,” but I loved it more as a film with the two of them. So, my hope is that one day it can still happen.”

Sony’s developing their own Spider-Man-verse with movies centered around Venom, Morbius, and even an upcoming Madame Web film. Silver & Black is a Sony property, so could there be a new deal made with Disney, similar to how the two studios work together for Spider-Man films?

Would you want to see a Silver & Black series?
