‘Snake Eyes’ Production Begins with Traditional Japanese Blessing

News broke today that the much anticipated Snake Eyes film begins production today in Japan. The cast and crew held an event to celebrate the beginning of shooting but not before receiving a traditional blessing at Hie-Jinja Shrine to start things off right. Directed by Robert Schwentke and stunt coordinated by Kenji Tanigaki, the spinoff stars Henry Golding, Andrew Koji, Samara Weaving, Ursula Corbero, Haruka Abe, Iko Uwais, and Takehiro Hira. Being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner and Executive Produced by Jeff Waxman, Erik Howsam, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger; the movie is set to release on October 23, 2020.

From what I’ve gathered, there is no official synopsis yet.
