‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ Adds Ben Schwartz as Sonic

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2124″ img_size=”1000×562″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded”][vc_column_text]In an update on the upcoming adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog, Ben Schwartz has been cast to voice the title character. Schwartz is best known for his role as the eccentric, but ultimately lovable Jean-Ralphio in Parks and Recreation. Schwartz will join the likes of James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Jim Carrey for the movie based around 1991’s video game, which was originated on the Sega Genesis.

Deadpool alum Tim Miller will serve as the film’s executive producer and Jeff Fowler will direct. There is not much else known about this upcoming project or why we’ve decided to have a Sonic the Hedgehog movie. While we all really loved playing Sonic back in the day and would enjoy a new game on a newer console, but let’s see how everything turns out. Let’s just remember, we had a live-adaptation once of the Mario Brothers.


Sonic the Hedgehog is set to premiere November 15, 2019, in theaters.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
